Brooks Pierce Attorney Named Chair of the North Star LGBTQ Community Center

Brooks Pierce attorney Collins Saint has been named chairperson of the board of directors for the North Star LGBTQ Community Center. They previously served as vice chair and has been a member of the board of directors since 2018. Saint will serve a two-year term.

The North Star LGBTQ Community Center focuses on encouraging a sense of community across diverse identities through advocacy, compassion, education and service. It is committed to providing educational, social and collaborative activities for LGBTQ youth, adults and families in the Triad.

Saint advocates for public and private educational institutions, teachers and students on a wide range of education law issues. They also represent businesses in a variety of industries to resolve disputes, litigating in state and federal court when necessary. Since 2018, Saint has served as the Young Lawyers Division Diversity and Inclusion Committee co-chair for the North Carolina Bar Association. They are also a member of the board of trustees for Triad Stage.
